§ GL-DECISION / TERM← GLOSSARY

Decision Intelligence.

Automated reasoning over an operational graph to surface insights, flag anomalies, and recommend actions grounded in the full context of a business.

DEFINITION

Decision intelligence is the layer that sits on top of an operational ontology and turns structure into judgment. It reads the live state of the business — every job, asset, schedule, and relationship — and applies reasoning to identify what deserves attention.

In practice, decision intelligence flags risks and anomalies before they become expensive problems, surfaces scheduling conflicts and resource bottlenecks automatically, predicts outcomes based on actual operational history, and answers natural-language questions grounded in the business's own data.

This is distinct from general-purpose AI chatbots. Decision intelligence is scoped to your operation, reasons over your ontology, and respects the structure of how your business actually runs.

Terms like this are the concepts the work is built around. If you want to see how they apply to an actual operation, we should talk.
